Breen’s Bros Towing Is Proud To Support Our Troops

Courtesy John Vincent Scalia, Sr. Funeral Home

During the holiday season, it is a time for giving back and showing good nature to each other. It is a time of goodwill, and we at Breen’s Bros Towing and the rest of the members of the Staten Island community were proud to participate in the Stockings for Soldiers Program.

John Vincent Scalia Sr. brought the campaign to Staten Island after he saw the success of it at his funeral home’s location in Old Bridge, NJ. The campaign helped to create over 3,200 personalized stockings that were collected at the funeral home’s locations in New Jersey and in Staten Island. The stockings were filled to be sent to the troops overseas.

Stockings were packed with toiletries, body wash, wet wipes, playing cards, feminine products, books, magazines, and socks. Scalia was happy to note that many local businesses and organizations like Girls and Boy Scouts and service clubs had been the reason for the massive success of Stockings for Soldiers. Breen’s Bros Towing was happy to donate the supplies to over 300 stockings for the cause to help.

We are proud to serve our community in any way. Whether it is helping out by towing vehicles to safety or giving back to our community through charity. For over three decades Breen’s Bros Towing has been happy to serve the city of Staten Island, NY and we hope to be apart of many more involvement opportunities for the years to come.
