Breen Bros Towing is family owned and operated for over 3 generations. Established in 1976 with one tow truck and the persistence to become the best through service and hardwork. We have since grown to a fleet of over 20 vehicles ranging from light to heavy duty.

History of Breen Bros Towing
As a young couple, founders Daniel and Patricia Breen started “Breen Bros. Towing” in 1976 with one tow truck to support “Breen Bros Texaco,” a Texaco gas station and repair shop operated by Daniel Breen’s father and uncle, hence the name “Breen Bros.”
Breen Bros. Towing incorporated in 1981 with a simple business model… to provide World-Class Customer Service, with the belief that the resulting client satisfaction would fuel our growth.
Over the years, Daniel and Patricia would give birth to five boys, solidifying and giving new life to the “Breen Bros.” name. While raising five (5) small children, Daniel, Joseph, Patrick, Michael and Robert; the couple continued to expand the business as an independent towing enterprise.
In 2004, the Breen’s began grooming their sons to enter the family business. Believing that their sons would need to master all aspects of the business, each began with learning the “back office” portion of the business. Over time, each son has progressed through many industry-sponsored training programs, and learned valuable experience through years of hands-on field experience.
Our services now range from light to super heavy duty towing, transport and recovery. We also offer full roadside assistance, hazmat remediation and rotator service to keep NYC on the move. We hold the industry’s highest certifications and are accredited by all major NYC authorities. Our current client base includes some of the largest corporations, municipalities and federal organizations in the world.
More recently, in early 2017, Breen Bros. will be purchasing a new property at 566 Industrial Loop, Staten Island, NY. This large property, with 2,200 ft2 of internal space and a 16,500 ft2 external yard, provides easy access to the Staten Island Expressway and West Shore Expressway. Most importantly, this acquisition solidifies Breen Bros. Towing’s future as Staten Island’s premier towing company.
About Our Drivers and Vehicles
Breen Bros. Towing has implemented the most Client friendly and innovative technology and processes in the industry. Technology and Process Improvement are integral parts of our business and our customer service.
OSHA Certified Forklift Operators
All Supervisors are OSHA Certified Forklift Operators. In the event of a commercial motor vehicle accident involving the need to offload cargo, the Supervisor will be licensed to operate the forklift. This avoids the need to utilize a wrecker or flatbed technician.
CPR & First Aid
As recognized First Responders, Breen Bros. Supervisors are also certified in CPR and First-Aid. They are equipped with First-Aid equipment necessary to assist Breen Bros.’ Tow Drivers in the event they are injured.
Winter Conditions
To ensure coverage and provide for the safety of our Drivers, we add winter chains to our vehicles which are pictured bellow. This is unique in the city.
